Alabama running back Najee Harris evokes awe as he hurdles over UF football defender

It could have been a routine carry for Alabama Crimson Tide running back Najee Harris, but he decided to do something abnormal in the fourth quarter of the Southeastern Conference Championship on Saturday in Atlanta. 

Harris leaped over Florida Gators defensive back Kaiir Elam on the way to a 19-yard run for a first down. Harris eventually went out of bounds at the Florida 26-yard line. 

At the time of the play, Alabama led 35-31 with about 13:10 left in the fourth quarter. 

The play caught the attention of many people online.

Alabama defeated Florida 52-46. 

Harris rushed 31 times for 178 yards and two touchdowns, and he caught five passes for 67 yards and three touchdowns. 

Alabama, ranked No. 1 in the Amway Coaches Poll, improved to 11-0 overall. The No. 11-ranked Florida Gators went to 8-3 overall.

After Saturday, the Alabama Crimson Tide lead the all-time series 28-14 against the UF Gators.
